When I had my lot-o I would tie 3 large rubber bands together and it seemed to work fairly well. This is a great idea though and a great way to recycle something that would normally be tossed.

I happened to have two bungee cords together with just the right length that does the trick.

I happened to have two bungee cords together with just the right length that does the trick. I think you (or someone) mentioned this before and I forgot about trying it. But now I have a large supply of tough rubber bands so will probably stick with that.

chris1956Yo Chris, I've been running my vibe with one of those rubber bands just wrapped around the base of the lid and it's held for 2 weeks. Just FYI
