I have gone out of town on the weekend and left my tumbler going without any problems even in the polish stage with no adverse affects.
I even had to let my barrel set for 3 days without tumbling because my belt had stretched and I had to wait for another one to arrive. Then after I got it going again with another belt, my father looked at it and noticed that the motor could have been moved over a bit tightening the belt.

You lucky duck!
Good luck!
Have a great time and if you catch something, post a photo of it. I think I have forgot what a fish looks like. Not much water around here for fishing.
Enjoy,
John

we need to go fishing and soon! i was so into my rocks sunday that i saw my husband come out of the house, get in his truck and drive away but until i was walking back in with my clean rocks it didn't dawn on me he left in his underwear and a pair of boots. so i'm standing in the kitchen window still puzzled and he walks by the window. then back the other direction in a minute and i hear the boat motor revving. i went out to see what he was doing and he said he was washing his truck. ok so why do you need to hook up the boat and rev the motor at the front door to wash your truck and where are your pants? yep he's way over due for some fishing!
