Have you been overindulging on the "friskies" again?

I made an omission when I wrote for cookie. Armadillos have four identical little Armadillos. What has me concerned, it has been almost 30yrs since I partook, has partaken?, did partake?, of shrooms, other miscellaneous substances. I have what is left. Literally I have three brain cells left. Two have fallen over and the one left standing is subject to static electricity. I do wish I could describe how Armadillos sound when they scream. It is different. It is kinda like Shwissseeepeeek. Ralph thought it was great and spent an hour with his nose out of the window. He is my Bengal, and my buddy, except he won't sleep with me. I want him to sleep with me. Instead he looks at me. All day. He doesn't meow, he squeaks like a Cougar does. He is an F1 Bengal, one generation from the wild breed. Just when we start to think he is an ordinary cat, we end up learning something new. He can see right through me.

Ralph and Muffy are F1 Bengals. They are not really that much larger than the average house cat, and some breeds are bigger. When we went to Los Angeles, my wife had the cats get shots. Bad idea. We informed the Vet., they were Bengals. Of course he had never heard of Bengals and treated them like tabbys. The little female, who is not fixed, took out four Veternary assistants. She can take shots but do not, I repeat, do not put a thermometer up her butt. Those four Veternary Assistants were shredded and needed stiches. Ralph got over it, and when they brought him out, he bit completelt through my hand. The canine incisors went completely through the back and the palm of my hand. I do like the larger cats. I have had a cougar, bobcat, Serval, and ocelot. The Bengals are the easiest to maintain. No special diet, no special needs, they do go wild faster than you can think wild. Muffy is fearless. When we had contractors texturing the walls of our house in Punta Gorda, She attacked the contractors and attacked the air compressor. Ralph lets her eat first, and play with his special toys first. If you ever wanted to get a breed cat, I highly reccomend Bengals. NOT F1. F2-4 is great. I love cats better than people. A cat will never lie. An interesting thing about Bengals. They have longer than "normal" legs, and tail. Ralph comes to me and wraps his tail around my arm and holds on with it. It is easy to get out of the grip, but you can feel it. They also are water cats. They both like to jump in the bath tub and lie down.

Are there any pictures of your Bengals? Are they buried on the forums somewhere? Rob used to work for a vet when he was young. Got chewed up by more than one of the animals and has the scars to prove it. I'm not sure if I trust the more wild types of kitties. Even my own domesticated cat, Minus, will go after me with a vengance now and again when he's "tired" of me rubbing his belly. He also goes after me with a vengance when I "don't" pet him on his belly. Go figure! Cats are rather independent aren't they? If I had a self-feeder that was dog (but not kitty) proof, Minus wouldn't need me at all. And the dog would be disgusting as usual and clean the litterbox for the cat! Yep...Minus barely needs me at all. You mentioned cat's and water. Wish I had the chance to see yours...it would be fascinating. We don't bathe Minus much, especially at his age. (17-18) When we did...we could see it in his face...he was plotting for a way to seek revenge on whoever put him near water. ;D Interesting that your Bengals are "rated" F1 or F2. I think of the Fujita tornado damage scale. Except, if you have an F1 Bengal, it's more damaging than an F2 and so on. Interesting correlation...wouldn't you say? Bengal kitty damage scale?

my first encounter with an armadillo was in a Florida campground, i went to dump the dinner garbageinto the public garbage can and the little bugger was IN the can when i lifted the lid.....i did not hear him scream over my screaming......
wish you'd get a digital camera Doc so we could all see Ralph and Muffy....
my cat sleeps with me off and on throughout the night, she gets annoyed when i move....so i try not to move. she has this smug look on her face when i have to get out of bed and she doesn't.
i want to ride on the melon wagon, KD

It breaks my heart, but Minus no longer sleeps with me. He'll sleep at the foot/side of the bed instead. He's not willing to jump up anymore...guess it's arthritis. Though, I can tell when he rarely wants up on the bed to snuggle.....he snuggles for a few minutes...then wants me to put him back down again. I hope he'll be with us another winter.

Em, you met my Cy, she's an old Siamese, like Minus, and wants love when SHE wants love. She'll come over to where I'm sitting to put on my make up in the morning and bite the tar out of me if I don't pet her. Sometimes she'll sit in the middle of the kitchen floor and sceam till someone picks her up and hugs her. But if she's not in the mood, back off! She'll hiss and spit. Hey Doc, I bet when you are in your deepest sleep, Ralph is there watching..
