this is a non-rock question but thought y'all might know. i varnished some handmade beads and it says on the varnish bottle that you can heat them in the oven at 100 degrees celcius for 10 minutes to make them more resisitant. are ovens in celcius or farenheit???

Where I am, it is farenheit. I am interested in hearing what happens.

In the USA, ovens are Fahrenheit.
100 degrees celcius is boiling. So in fahrenheit it would then be 212 degrees.
Hope this helps.

thank y'all. i heated them at 212 and nothing blazed up ;D. doc it's a fimo water based varnish and it says the heat treatment will make it more resistant to humidity.
