I have a flyer for: The Minnesota Mineral Club presents 2004 Great Lakes, Great Rocks, The Land of 10,000 Lakers... Saturday, October 16th, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Sunday, October 17th, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM It's at the National Guard Training and Community Center, 8180 Belden Blvd., Cottage Grove, Minnesota 55016 Its says it will have Exhibits, Dealers, Kids Corner, Programs, Swap Meet, & Demonstrations. Agates - Rocks - Gems - Minerals - Fossils - Jewerly Cost: $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for kids and seniors, $5.00 max per family. Scouts, etc. that come in uniform are free as well as their adult leaders. For more Information: Alan Olson (612) 729-8331 or Sandy Fuller rockbiz8@cs.comI'm thinking about going. I sent an email asking about costs. I received a reply which says: Yes - there is a cost for the show. $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for kids and seniors, $5.00 max per family. Scouts, etc. that come in uniform are free as well as their adult leaders.

Cher, My wife works at a school and a teacher gave it to her. I'm not a member, but I'm thinking of joining the Minnesota Mineral Club. The dues per year are: Single Membership - $12.00 Family Membership - $18.00 There web site is: www.geocities.com/rmwurm/Chris

Don'tcha just love those rock shows? BE and I went to the SA Gem and Mineral Show in April and it was too kewl! So many rocks, so little money! The SA Gem and Mineral Society is having a swap meet the 30th and I am really looking forward to it. And, of course, I just LOVE a visit to the local rock shops. I do wish I would have been into tumbling when I lived in Crested Butte,Co. There was a killer rock shop right at the top of Monarch Pass that I would stop at every time I went past it. Bought lots of cool rocks to put on my shelves and such , but didn't even know about tumbling way back then! llana
