Thank you all for your prayers.
Just wanted to update you all on my Dad. I just got home from spending a few days with him.
He is stable but still serious condition. We are hoping he gets is reconstuctive surgery on Sunday as they have been waiting for some of the swelling in his face to go down. He has about 250 stitches in his face and head, and just a few in his arm and leg. They will need to reconstruct his one eye socket and and half of the other eye socket and redo both check bones as well as the top part of his nose. He can see out of his one eye, but they don't think there is anything they can do with the other eye as it was puctured. However the optical nerve is still ok so he can possibly get a eye transplant later.
He is partly awake (lots of pain stuff and seditives when he gets to restless. He will open his one eye when you talk to him, squeeze your hand and shake his head yes and no when you ask him things.
All in All he is doing pretty good considering what happened. My sister is up there now with him, as we are taking turns so he always has someone there with him.

Hi Bunny,
I'm happy for you that your dad is coming along. He must be a strong man to have survived an attack like that and no matter what his physical outcome may be he will still have you and his oved ones by his side.
There IS power in prayer and I'll keep praying for your dad.

Yes!!! Tell your dad for me, he is an example. The damage from my adventure is still with me. I am still blind in my left eye, and my legs still have no feeling. Go Dad!!!

Aww Bunny, that's good news. I'm so happy to know your dad is stable and holding his own. I can't even imagine the pain he's going through. I will continue to pray for him and the rest of you as well. Take care of yourself, don't get too worn out with worry and stress.

Greetings All,
I am glad to hear your father is recovering from the attack,. He had great courage to keep himself going for as long as it took him to reach safety after suffering such terrible wounds. I hope he continues to do well in the weeks to come.
