that sounds clever, Shorty, obsidian marbles, too cool!
speaking of cool, i hope that snow isn't headed our way....keep it there, OK? HA! keep it there all winter....
(hooked the plow on over the weekend, that ensures it won't snow now!)

Whew, it's already past me, thank goodness. Nicer weather coming your way Shorty, at least some sunshine anyway.

I'm in N GA and I WANT SNOW! Don't have to go to work ;D I'm using my imagination, Shorty, and the marbles are beautiful! At least the leaves changing are at there peak here and it's gorgeous. If the fog will lift, I'll try to post a pic.

Hey Shorty. That's an old woodworking trick to make wooden spheres. The only difference is the way I saw it done was with a belt sander turned upside down and a box built around the revolving belt. Just drop the square pieces in and let them go. I wondered if it would work on stones also. Did you start out with even sided cubes?
