thought y'all might enjoy this. yesterday i went rushing off to pick up my daughter at school and wave at all the mothers and teachers in the pick-up line, get back on the road headed for home with my daughter and bust out laughing. i've still got my safety glasses on. my daughter hasn't even commented cause she sees me in them so much. at least they are a rather nice pair and not the ones that look like swim goggles lol but no mistaking they still look like safety glasses!

They must be a wearable pair! I am blind as a bat so I have to always wear glasses. I wish I could make a mistake and wear safety glasses to a function.

HAHAHAHAHA Too funny...I thought I was bad doing errands with the glasses imprints on my cheeks. I looked like something out of the twilight zone. Like doc I'm blind as a bat too so my safety goggles go on over my real glasses. Four eyes? hah! that's nothing...they call me six-eyed herm...scourge of the agate and conquerer of all things gritty! ARRRRRRRRRRRR

Kim, that is too funny!
I'm blind as a bat also and have worn glasses or contacts since the first day of the first grade. Even though they are trifocals and I am suppose to be able to do close work with them, I can't. So, I push them up on the top of my head. Then when I need them again, I get in a panic because I don't remember where I put them. I can't recall the number of times I have stumbled around trying to find them only to discover they have been on my head the whole time. Do that all the time with I wear my contacts and have sunglasses. I really feel stupid when I go inside, push my sunglasses on top of my head, then get frantic when I can't find them. Folks usually just grin like fools while I am searching then laugh when I finally realize they are on my head. DUH!
