We had a wonderful camping trip up to the mountains this week, and capped it off with a visit to the Flagstaff Gem and Mineral Show yesterday afternoon. It was a nice event, and I got the chance to meet Ralph and Mary Ann (Stones That Rock) from RTH! They are both great people and had some really nice rough on display. I was delighted to see that they had slabbed up that big poppy piece they showed off here not too long ago Here's what I picked up at their table Ralph said this is an orbicular rhyolite. It's beautiful stuff! Variscite and an unknown Holly Blue and Australian Opal Thanks guys, I look forward to getting to know you both better I also picked up a few slabs there from another vendor I could use an ID on these please I believe the red might be coprolite, a picture jasper and a Brazilian slab with a camera reflection Some nice Rainbow Fluorite pieces And I picked up some nice Condor rough from yet another vendor Thanks for lookin' ;D

I like them all. You did good at the show. I found similar fluorite at the last year Budapest mineral fair. Hope that I am going to be able to find it again this year.

Great finds! I like the Flourites, but the Condor Agates are really cool - lots of color and patterns! You'll be busy for a while!

That chunk of variscite is extraordinary. Quality like that is very hard to get, and usually only purchased by designers for top dollar. Nice haul!

It was great meeting you also. We look forward to hooking up with you again,, soon. I will be posting some pics of the show, alittle later. It was along drive home, with an accident, that held us up for 30 mins. and then rain until prescott turnoff. Looks like you found some nice stuff at the other vendors, unfortuntely, I didn't beat you to that fluorite or it would have been gone. lol

Nice loot Brian! Can you believe I live only 8 miles from the Flag show and I let it slip by? Always next year eh?
PS I am still trying to get a good final polish on some of the material you gave me.
