Hi,
I have posted some of the pics on the site, there are two new pages on there which are linked to from the main page under visitor pics.
I think its great that I can use pics which are "real world" examples of what is going on, and I am grateful that you guys post them.
The policy of virtually every single forum I ever visited is that no-one can advertise themselves on there to make money, however, I do not hold that view.
Members of this board who trade in rough for example are quite free to post their wares to other members, as in this hobby, it can be difficult to find a trustworthy supplier.
I would ask therefore that everyone who has posted pics, should reply on this board - to this message with captions and contact addresses which I can post on rocktumbling hobby dotty com.
This way you may get surfers sending messages to you offline.
Posters of the pics therefore check out the site and put some text which you would like to see against your pics on here - I will paste it onto the main site for general surfers to read.
Cheers all Andy.

Andy, great job with the photo page. I also agree, there are few forums that allow potential mercantile potential. I got some blue aventurine from one of us, and not was I not slammed, the individual went to great lengths to make sure it arrived. He sent it before I sent the check. On that red rock in question on the photo page, I believe it is red obsidian. I have a piece like it except with a lot of black veins. I found it by the side of the road in southwest Washington state, near Mt. St. Helens. I cannot verify it came from the volcano, but it behaves like obsidian. That is my best guess. Great forum Andy. We do all seem to stay on the topic also.
