I just wanted to know what you all thout of putting Sugar or corn syrup in the Polishing stage. I herd that it makes the polish thiker and helps polish the rocks. Is this true and is it better to use Sugar or Corn Syrup?
Thanks

Rocks tend to get banged up in the pre-polish and polishing stages because of the consistantcy of the medium. Using Corn syrup or sugar as medium helps cushion the stones, preventing maring. I prefer plastic pellets myself, rather then sugars, which make a sticky mess.
