Wow...my jaw is literally on the floor. That is just...amazing. Is there any chance we could see the back? I'd love to see more details on how you worked the gems in.

Oh my God! What an incredible piece of work! That is beyond beautiful. I can't even begin to imagine the patience it took to make that. Patti

I normally don't like the antiqued look, but yours turned out beautifully. You did a wonderful job on it. Tami

Thanks Patti! and you too Tami! Yeah, I don't normally like antiqued either...but this one just said..."DO ME". So...I nervously did it. Now I am glad I did. Me likes it too! ;D

Gorgeous as always! I like the antiquing, adds depth. Good choice. So, when you do all the wrapping, do you use a base metal for the frame? I've been using sterling silver, gold-filled wire, etc...but thought perhaps it'd be okay to use a surgical steel frame (hypollergenic and hard as Hades so it'd hold the shape). Might bring down the cost. Anyone know what effect might occur with say, sterling silver on top of surgical steel?

Sorry gal, I sure don't. I always use sterling silver through out. The frame doesn't use that much wire...and ya can use scraps! ;D
