Finally, another wrap done. This one is an Amethyst 30mm X 22mm oval cab I got on eBay wrapped in 21 ga. HH silver and 22ga half round HH. and the back Pictures are not that great. I am getting tired of these cabs that taper down to a sharp edge, I am stuck in the three wire mode and beginning to think that two (or 4) wires is better for a thin edge cab. Anyone think the same or similar thing? Thanks for looking. granpaw

That looks nice!
Yeah, for the no bezel ones I've used both two and four wires. It's hard to keep the wire steady on the edges when there's not a flat to attach it to!

Well I went ahead and did another with three wires and it turned out a bit easier, but next time it will be 2 or 4 wires. Or a cab with a thicker edge.

THis is really pretty. Your wrap enhanced the beauty of the stone.

That's very innovative! I have an Amethyst just like that but larger and shapped differently. It was given to me and I really like it.
I always use 4+ wires...the exception is with thin shell ovals...they are just waaaaay too thin to handle much wire.

That is a beautiful wrap. I use 2,3, or 4, it all depends on the mood I am in. Tami

Very nice. I went down to 2 wires and I like the ease of the lesser wires. john
