wm7734... no, blocked bidders still won't be able to bid on the items of anyone that has blocked them. Why would they want to? Anyway, eBay's software will see to the blocking. BTW, the sellers will still be able to see all the bidder IDs
When you place a bid, you will see your ID and others will be hidden (the a**f kinda names) no one other than the seller can see your actual ID

i forgot...i did get shilled a bunch....on ski vests....heres what happened.
every spring for the last few years... i had to pick up a few new ski vests...for the jet ski.....colton was growing...and i got a little larger ;D...thats gone now ;D.
i would place a decent bid....and i would lose the auction to.... 111111 .....this went on for about 4 weeks.....always losing to the same ebay i.d.
after i asked a friend....why would this person need so many ski vests....he explained it to me.....he was shill bidding....or had clients for that many vests....but yet....why so many of the same size..
after my buddy seen this....the dude was suspended......but he is back on with another i.d. so im told.
so i can now see ...looking back how this will mess folks up......i still say...put in the highest bid ya wanna pay......or snipe it.....with your highest amount,,,kev.

As I understand it, the new policy enables the seller and you (once you bid on an item) to see the bidders' IDs.

That's not true. I've been bidding on a water heater for our pop-up today and I can still only see that stupid ** type id. I use to like and look at a persons feedback and get an idea about what kind of shopper they were, but now all you can see if a few generic statistics. I used to be an E-bay addict, but it is getting so bad that I find myself looking there less and less.

Oh! I guess I misunderstood their explanation! It said that you (I assumed that was whoever placed a bid) and the seller could see the bidders. Well that sucks. I check other people out too, LL. I guess it gives you the same sort of t*****t name when you click on their feedback number?

Yep, you can't see their feedback at all, which really stinks.
