kind of a work in progress here, don't know what i will do with this rather elaborate cabochon mounting: ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/krazyD/pbu02.jpg) from another angle: ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/krazyD/pbu01.jpg) this is considerably time consuming, but i find it addicting and a good way to use some of the cabs i have made. a member sent this particular material to me, but i'm afraid i've forgotten just who it was....if this looks familiar to you, please speak up! thanks for looking, KD

Useless? I can "see" it attached to a lady's belt as a fake buckle. A broach would be equally great. I like the idea of surrounding the cabs with matching beads, like you and Dot do.
The way that you extended the brown patterns in the cab is outstanding. You have a great eye!

Hey you bead ? Me too! and yours looks like you've got it down packed! and already taking off with what looks to be very creative! and I've been trying to combine them together as well and you make it look so easy and I KNOW it's NOT! .. But here's a few ideas for them.. make them into the barrettes or make some that you can sew onto the front of hats.. Or yeah a chics belt buckle sounds kinda cool.. Or what about wall pieces you know like matching sets or something to hang on a wall ... dunno but I think you're on to sumpthin! so Keep it up! they look great!

KD that's beautiful. I like the way you continued the pattern of the cab with the beads, very cool like a little mountain scene. You are so talented!

i like parfive's idea, so in a few months, it will be a place mat, several months later, a small throw rug, by my mid-eighties it'll be a bike cover for eDog's Harley.........HA!
thanks for your comments,
KD

Holy Crap KD, nice job on that, and the way the cab patterns flow into the beading is awesome! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I love it KD. How big is it? I love the idea of a brooch or a buckle. But then, it would make an awesome bike cover!!

Nah - wrong colors for Edog's bike. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) It looks great, KD. I've always been amazed at these pieces of yours - I think Harley's snake purse was the first one that I saw.
