www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/localnews/stories/100208dnmetpostoffice.cd2f6d6d.html Box of rocks causes evacuation of 700 workers at Dallas mail center 10:32 AM CDT on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 By DONNIE WYAR / The Dallas Morning News A suspicious package that led to the evacuation of 700 U.S. postal workers this morning turned out to be a box of rocks, a Dallas Fire-Rescue spokeswoman said. The incident was reported shortly before 7 a.m. at the U.S. post office bulk mail center in the 2400 block of Dallas-Fort Worth Turnpike along Interstate 30 between Hampton and Westmoreland roads. A worker handling a 30-pound box of "concrete-type rocks" that had been cracked open reported a bit of dust and burning in his throat, said Dallas Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Sherrie Lopez. The incident was reported during shift change at the facility which led to the evacuation of hundreds of workers. Fire crews checked the package for radioactivity, flammability, biohazards and unusual pH levels, but all results came back negative, she said. Two people were evaluated at the scene. No injuries were reported and everyone returned to work shortly after 8 a.m.

I have been known to price a Grey river rock and slip it on to some ones retail table.

Great story...I bet this has happened elsewhere. Lots of FRB's that I receive are split open and all of them have dust
