had a chance to jump online, so, of course, had to check up on what you were saying about me when i wasn[t around, j/k.
yeh, Stefan, i'll probably suffer from this sunshine and warm weather, not to mention palm trees and good food, but hey, somebody has to do it!!!
tried some cuban food today for lunch, wish we were staying longer to try more of it. if it weren't for the traffic, i'd think of living here. but there are way too many people for me. still, it's nice for a few days off.
cheers, KD

You are so lucky, enjoy!!!!! I would do anything for palm trees and the sound of the ocean about now, and all the nightlife there.

The only rocks in Miami are illegal ones!! LOL Welcome to Florida KD! Come just a bit North of where you are now, traffic but not near as bad.

Hey KD, if you are anywhere near Tampa, stop in and see our shop. Real easy to get to. You can see my wall of shame. I got some new rockers on it. Meantime, you will suffer, remember, soon you will be going back to where humans can live.

Miami, been there once. A very International city, beautiful people everywhere. But I only spent one night and saw a robbery in progress! Naples/Ft. Meyers is nice. Pensacola (where the wife is from) is probably more backwards than Tampa Doc. First night there, we saw a guy get knocked out at a bar from our motel room. One punch! Aw well, enjoy your stay KD. Florida intrigues me, some spots may be undiscovered like Cali was way back when but I don't know. Maybe the Azores is the place for me. Kauai? Saipan? Anywhere sounds nice when there is 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground right now. Sorry to threadjack KD.

back home to the snow and cold.........
our friend gave us the grand tour of Miami and we had a nice drive up through Ft. Lauderdale. got to pick through some shells and driftwood but no rocks.
had some good food and a dose of sunshine, got to make that last now till April here.
going out now to brave the ice and snow and holiday shoppers. gah.
