Lapis Koroit Koroit Koroit...not much sparkle but I like the pattern. Not all opal will have nice sparks and lights.. just don't throw any away. I'm opening a home for unwanted opals, lol. And some have it all! Koroit...very thin one. I'll have to mount it with care. This stuff is right out of a glycerin and oil light show!! And that lightshow! An unknown. Oh, and an opal Sorry... I just have to do them... I can't stop! Thanks for looking. Tony

Tony: Man it looks like you got some really nice lapis too!!! I love lapis! WOW that last BO is a killer! I agree that sometimes even with no sparkle the matrix still makes a lovely piece, it is just so darn alluring! Was the opal God getting a feeling that grasshopper has 7 BO's dopped? I am just scared with my new wheels to ruin them!!! Tonight I am trying them, seeing these makes me want to call in sick and stay home and cab! Nice job on all!! Amber

Oooh...yeah the light show in that thin one is outstanding! Great job on them all, though. The lapis is a close 2nd in my eyes...great color.

Wow, Tony, that 5th cab is a real jaw-dropper! It has so much glare into it that it might melt the yoghurt plastic glass you kept it into That 4th one is interesting, looking like a happy alien in its first pic. And the 2nd BO is also very special and beautiful. Really great batch, thanks for sharing. Adrian

Great cabs and material. I see a cool scene in the third photo. Looks like opal rising up through the earth into an underground pool, then flowing out into the sky. Very cool

Opal cabs really blew my mind. Your dating yourself there Tony on the liquid light show cab. Can remember seeing them at Filmore West and Avalon Ball Room in S.F., CA; brings back some old memories.... ;D

A home for unwanted opals? I got a bunch of them!!! Nice job on all of them, especially the light show. Looks just like the ones at the old Filmore West.

Thanks, ya'll! I appreciate your helping me keep my level of opal addiction high Amber...I know you'll do well with the opal. Just don't be impatient and go real slow and look, look, look! Adrian...when I get a good opal worked up it doesn't go back into the yogurt cups..it goes under my pillow I don't like being separated from them too much, lol 49'er .....you and Ed got to experience some really fine times! California in the late 60's and early 70's would have been amazing. I was in the army til May 69, but we were a year behind Cali. anyway, so I didn't miss much, I hope. We didn't have a Filmore but we had the Allman's playing in the park a lot. Tony

Hey, Tony! So sorry about your main dog guy. Not much tougher that having to put them down. To me the joy and richness they bring to my life so far out weighs the pain and that huge hole they leave when they go... I just get up off the floor and fall in love again. Ed pointed out that Gene was posting buckets and boxes on his ebay site so I just decided to buy a box when I see one I like. Gene wrote the other day that he would get more up when he gets back from Tucson. I had been planning to drive down there and pick out some rough in person, but life's gotten in the way so far. It seems there is some kind of financial crisis going on! I was wondering why I didn't have work and my saving was gone. I'm just glad it wasn't something I did T
