Well - With most of my equipment crated up, my progress is really fallen off. Being out sick for Nov/Dec did not help much either. I manage to cut a few slabs at the club shop, and I did some preliminary shaping on some pieces I trimmed out of end cuts. I plan to shape a bit more, then tumble finish. rough:

That green material is very nice, but still my favorite is the cab in the right side.
Looking at that "knot" in the cab in the right side, is there any chance to be pet wood? The rough is not far from the pet wood appearance either.

PS. OH yes it is, I followed the links in your post and I saw it and remembered it. Amazing colors on those pet woods.

It is so good to see you are back at it! I am glad you are feeling better. It can really suck when you don't feel up to doing the things you love to do. That first rock really looks amazing! I sure hope someone chimes in and lets us know what it is. Take care of yourself! Fran
