Shark's teeth have always facinated me, I talked the wife into wire wrapping a couple for the kids that live next door to us up on the Miss. river. It wasn't long before she was the most popular lady in the neighborhood. I would like to go hunting those some day.

Woodie' I read someplace that they use shovels with the scoop part cut out in the center and they are then fitted with a piece of screen . You slowly walk along shoveling and sifting right in the water. Sounds like fun

I know a guy that has a fossilized megalodon tooth...that thing is cool, the fossilization gives it the appearance it's made out of a creamy tan ivory....I'll see if I can get a photo of it one of these days to share with you all....

very nice of that person to give you some teeth. Growing up here in central Fl. I have found more than I care to remember. Most of them I would find on the railroad tracks where they fell along with bits of phosphate from the railcars that left the phosphate mines. Heres a few of my bigger ones either from the mines or the rivers
