I went to the yard sale where the rock saws were advertised. The saws werent there, the lady said they were too heavy to bring over. Her husband came and showed pictures of them on his laptop. He said one was a 14 in.Lortone and thought the larger 16 in. was too,not sure. It was green with orange belt gaurds. He said his father was a doctor and relaxed at night doing his rocks. He said his father bought an old house made out of pet wood. They tore it down and had 5 tons of pet wood. Anyways,$350 for the 14, $850 for the 16. Any comments will be appreciated before I go look at them. THANKS, ......Gerald

I paid $250 for my 10" and that was a good deal. If its in good shape, I think I'd grab it. You could always see if they will take a bit less.

Did you think about offering them $250-350 for both of them, when no one buys them, they will most likely call you back. Looks like you will have some money invested just to get them running, but it is always fun to have a project to work on and if you don't need both, you can always get them running and sell one to pay for the repair costs.
Be careful though, if people hear you will buy stuff like that, the offers might just start coming in.
