I didn’t make it to the beach last weekend, so I was really itching to set out today to make up for lost time. The fog was thick on the coast, so I didn’t take any of the usual location photos. Here’s the bucket from Cape Sharp, near Parrsboro, on the Bay of Fundy. Left my rock hammer out in the rain, but that will clean up. Photo 1 - Photo 2 - Photo 3 - Here’s the bucket from Partridge Island, also near Parrsboro, on the Bay of Fundy. Photo 4 - Photo 5 - Photo 6 - The local Home Depot never seams to have any Qep blades for my tile saw. I got tired of waiting, so ordered five from Home Depot on-line. It took about 4 days and added $8.00 for courier charges. Given the number of times I drove my “gas hog “ to Home Depot to find they were still out of stock, this is the way to go. 150FromFundy “Rock me gently.”Neil Diamond

Well the fog just gave you reason to keep your eyes on the ground. Those are real pretty beach stones. Do you know what the stone on the left in pic 5 is? I love the blue in it.

Partridge Island Blue Rock
This area is rich in copper, and native copper can be found by the very lucky. Knowing that, I'm guessing that this rock is some kind of copper oxide. We also have malachite and azurite that usually only exist together in very thin seams.
I'm not sure if the blue carries throug the rock, or is just a stain on the surface. The saw will soon answer that.
