That cab is just terrific. Malachite is one of my absolute favorite stones. I've never worked the stuff, but I've lusted after good Malachite pieces for years!

Beautiful stuff!!! I have one started but it is so soft I am afriad it will be sludge in the bottom of my pan soon!

Excellent cab! malachite is one of my favs to cut..soft, easy to shape and takes a great polish.

Thanks everyone for the compiments, it is a mess to work with, I wear a pair of surgical gloves, they do help, especially not using dop sticks.

I find myself distracted by the shape of the cab versus the pattern of orbs. It might just be the light reflected in the top left corner but I want to grind that corner down (says the rookie cabber).
I love malachite but I won't spent invest in expensive material until my skills improve.
