Poor Wizard. I guess he just can't help himself with a self-imposed ban.
I would delete the thread on tumbling, but just remove his posts from it (since it isn't his thread). JMO.

In a way, banning him and deleting things on request is him getting you to pay attention to him.
He could just delete his posts, and delete his logon. The reason admin's have a BAN function is to keep away people who keep coming back.
He can just leave, but no, he has to insist that you throw him out. Kind of manipulative and attention seeking. I mean why not start a thread "Should Wizard leave?" why even rais the issue of BANing or creat a framework where you have to do things for him.

Damn, Deb. You always think stuff through, thats why I like you. You are right and if he is banned he can just go through a proxy to come back under another name...

ED, I don't think he can comeback as another name unless he changes his internet provider. From the way I understand it when he is banned his IP address is blocked.

Proxy servers hide the IP address. When you use a proxy server, you're basically using another computer, somewhere else.

And the possibility that Wizard is using a dynamic IP address provided by his ISP that can be recycled to another innocent person or even an existing RTH member with the same ISP as Wizard. True but incredibly unlikely. You have better odds of winning the lottery, and if you win you can pay someone to tumble rocks and post the pictures for you.

Using a proxy server is very easy, the kids do it at school to get around all the blocked sites so they can check their myspace page... Here, go look at this page and see all the servers, www.fastproxynetwork.com/

Ok - points taken - he isn't banished - I really dont have to banish him - folks here have pointed out he can go of his own accord and would possibly come back behind a proxy server which is exactly right. Whilst he is a member the facility to delete his own posts and himself are fully available. I kept the thread on rocktumbling and deleted references to and by wizard. The poll results stopped at 26 said he should be banished (LOL at that word "banished" 11 said he should not. 2 said depends. LOL - Im thinking now should I create a vote which says "Should Mark/Sands Ban People who ask for it?" LOL
