Wow! I am a big fan of palm fiber and palm root. I'm in the middle of preforming a bunch of palm fiber 30 X 40's for my collection right now. Eventually I hope to go over by Three Rivers and find me some more.....Mel

I didn't know there was a rock shop in Smithville. I guess on my next trip up to Hutto I'll have to take the "scenic route" and go thru Smithville. Nice slabs. Tom

Tom,I took the scenic route, only about 50 miles out of the way.Iusually take hwy 79 through Hutto to go to Round Rock. Heck you go to Smithville and then hit 95 from Bastrop to Taylor,it would beat the heck outta I35 thru Austin.lol. The rock shop is open Wednesday thru Sunday 10:30-5:00. At Kellar Rd and Hw 71

Snuffy, my daughter and her family live in Hutto (well, about a mile south of Hutto, actually), and when I go up there these days, I get off I35 in Buda and take the tollway all the way to the 79 exit at Hutto. Beats the snot out of having to drive through Austin, and well worth the few bucks extra it costs for tolls.
