I got to go out and do a bit of cutting before the rain came in today. Would have stayed out in it but it was actually cold rain and I was a wimp. Most of this is preforms off of slabs that I got from Stonesthatrock. They are all so cool! Here is the whole group from today. Here are the left over slabs after cutting The little slabs that I cut mostly fancy bloodstone These were cut from the edge of the bloodstone. There were some agate looking areas that I could not resist! Amethyst Sage Don't know about you but I can see a person in the larger cab Some Mook Dumorterite Picture Jasper and Moss This was a beautiful slab that was given to me by Tony...or maybe it was Amber It broke a bit last week so I redrew the cabs and cut again today with a new blade. Much Better! I think that was it. Thanks for looking! Fran

You had a BUSY day! I know how you feel about getting the cutting in before the rain. It's supposed to be 90 here tomorrow and then on Wednesday...dropping down to like 50 for a high. I guess I need to do some cutting tomorrow!!! I like your Mook shapes. The Amy Sage is neat stuff too. Steve

Fran, you are a sawing maniac! I cut on the WF for 2 hours this morning and managed to get 12 preforms and break one more. I cannot imagine how you can cut that much in one day with the WF!
Wow!

Now if I can just get some finished...I have hundreds of preforms dopped and ready to go or at different stages of grinding but not much complete. I started another vibe load of rock today that I will add some preforms and cabs to in the later stages. I sure hope they turn out! Now I am working on the grinder, trying to get all the quartz edges smoothed so they don't undercut when they have their turn in the vibe. I am still trying to get enough quartz to that level or readiness to go into the vibe. Fran

Fran, may I ask - what do you use to do your grinding with?

Fran these are awesome! I really like the picture jasper, there's quite some scenery in them! I can't wait to see them all polished up.

I see a man in that one also. kind of a side view of an angular face. Fran, you really do a beautiful job preforming sets. That picture jasper in the middle is a beauty!
