Great wraps and even better stones. You work with great material. I like the first one best.

Love the first stone but the 2nd wrap design is my favorite. You do such beautiful work. In general how long are the wires that you star with. I am just starting to wrap in sterling silver & don't want to waste much?? Nancy

Well, it kinda depends on the stone, and what I wanna try with it. I am not much of a pattern follower, I kinda make it up as I go. Maybe start with about 10"? I really don't measure...I think mine are closer to 12-14 inches, but I like a lot of room to play with it. Sorry I'm not much help. Others here probably measure their sterling as well, to keep expenses down. You might try sending a PM to Randy, or sitnwrap, they may give you a better idea of what to start with??? The IDEA with the 2nd wrap was to make a fan of sorts, guess I need to work on that a little more! LOL

Gorgeous wraps Marie! How is that gold plated wire to work with? Same as the others I'd guess if the same hardness is purchased?

Nate, Thanks! It's not too bad to work with...only thing is, haven't found it in square, which is why this is round instead. Uggh! If I order this again, it will be in the next size up tho, the 22 gauge seems small to me..... I want square gold plate! So if you guys know where to find it...let me know!

I get square gold filled at Rio Grande--don't know about the plated though. Your wraps are, as always beautiful!
Hmmm--gold plated? I hope that means your store is doing well!

Those are gorgeous, Marie - the middle one looks like there must be about 8 or 10 wires in it, but I can't figure out how you made them all behave while doing the wraps! Way cool.

I am so glad to see you have not given up wrapping for cabbing! Those are beautiful! So many wires. How did you ever get them all to cooperate? I love the last one. And that laker is a beauty!

Thanks everyone!! Tom - that one you mentioned is a 4 wire wrap, because the stone was a little thicker. Wasn't easy to make the behave tho!! LOL Llana - Nope, haven't given up wrapping, just don't post everything here, people would get sick of me real fast if I did!! LOL I DO love that machine tho!!!! Havin soooo much fun with it!! Thanks Randy!
