Finally finished a pair of earring stones to go with the pendant cab for my Mom. Now I just have to get them wrapped and find "clip on" backing for the earrings that are a good quality. Hard to find with everything being pierced. I also made a set of earring stones to go with an amethyst sage cab I made a week or so ago. A few I have done over the past few days. Believe it or not, this is a crazy lace. It was a side piece that didn't look vibrant but it was pretty. Had lots of vugs but shined up well enough. A mossy purple burro creek A picture jasper A little end piece of some Rhodonite. It does not look as pretty as it is. Almost a rainbow effect in the black area of this cab. Just looks fractured in the picture but it is not. I have a whole lot more in the process but not quite there yet. Thanks for looking! Fran

Wow, Fran, you really did a great job on the sets - matching colors and patterns beautifully! Love the rhodochrosite!
PS - I have the same problem with the clip-ons - I can't make any for Mom until I find clip-ons!

Great work Fran. That genie is working out great for you! I really like how you find matched pieces to do a whole set. They're gorgeous!

Fran: Great job!!!! The rhodo and Burro Creeks are my favs, the set is beautiful, there was a catalog called Whispers, that sold earring backs, and findings for people with metal allergies, I believe they used to have clip ons for people to switch out. Or maybe go to like TJ Max and get a cheap pair on sale that you can soak off and re glue?

Thanks everyone! I have been trying to get a bunch done up and then maybe I can find my wire and get started on wrapping again if I can remember how...It has been a long time! Maryann, that was a practice piece of Rhodo. I saw that it did so well, I had to get more of the stuff! The slab I got from you is sitting right here beside my computer and it is so gemmy! I can't decide the patterns I want to cut from this Slab! At least I know I can make it shine when I do decide! Fran
