I picked my first ripe tomato on May 15, the earliest I ever got one.Proud of it, a beer bottle for size comparison. If you are interested in the rest of the story, scroll on down. You cant always believe what you see ;D ;D ;D snuffy

Dad, you are a comedian! I have seen your tomotoes though in the past and know that they can be almost as big as a regular size beer bottle!

Good one. That tomato does look good even if it isn't as big as the regular bottle.

I wouldn't even dream of planting a tomato this early. That fresh one sure looks good, I remember my mom used to take the first ripe tomato and make a tomato sandwich.
Thanks for making me hungry! Tony

It's still not safe to put bedding plants out up here in this part of Canada. The rule is not until after this coming weekend and even then watch for frost.
