Got these on E bay from Agatemagots friend. Polish Flint Black Polish Flint. The add said it was agatetized. And it is. Australian Flint the pic does it no justice. Unknown Mexican Jasper, ID help would be nice. This is one solid piece.

Man, that Mex. jasper is outstanding! I love the extreme definition in the banding, and it appears to not have pits, fractures, or anything! Spiffy!

I'm 95% sure it's Mexican Apache Hickoryite. I just bought some a month ago and it looks just like that. Mine is hard as hell, very solid and takes a fantastic polish.

Everyone of those look amazing! Are you slicing and cabbing or tumbling? Either way, I think you are going to have some fantastic results! Fran

I agree with the hickoryite. Got some very similiar. Awesome material to work as it cuts and polish great. Nice hard solid material. Have fun with that

Thanks for the id Spokanetim. Nice to have a name to it, as it didn't come cheap. Frane my daughter claimed the large Polish Flint before I had it unwraped. She might let me cut it. I do plan on throwing the others on the saw soon and will post pic's.
