Would anybody have a good used rock chisel not being used they would be willing to sell? I need one or whatever else would work, to break up rock in the event I am unable to cut any larger rocks with my 7" saw( happens frequently). I have a cold chisel I got at the hardware store but it's pretty much useless! Thanks - Donnie

Donnie, you could go back to the hardware store and get a stone masons chisel. Make sure it's not one of the made in China ones. They don't last. A good masons chisel will be a little bit expensive, but will last for years. Don

Look for Estwing brand in stone masons tools as Don said. They should have various widths. They should be under $20.

Just to let you know, if you have not had a good chisel before, you gotta sharpen the things occasionally and when they start to mushroom on the hammer end you have to grind it off otherwise it can break and send shrapnel flying. Have fun!

it's agua nueva agate with druzy. be careful cutting it, it's very fragile, but often has really nice banding inside. enjoy
