Fine looking wood. I have some real Palm wood, looks the same. But I bet yours don't give you splinters just buy lookig at it. Nasty stuff but beautifully grained.

Nice pieces Snuffy!
I have an 18lb. piece that I found and am trying to decide how to cut (looks similar to the piece in the 12 o'clock position in the second pic). Do the slabs look better across the grain or with the grain? I see Snuffy cut most of his across the grain.
