I still don't have a decent photographic set-up although I have gone so far as to download the "how to." I don't really like my photos, but I'm wondering if anyone can identify the stone in question. There are some nice red moss/plumes in dark agate, but there is a rather large area of silvery hematite on part of the stone, that didn't photograph well. I think it would be messy to cut -- but could look very dramatic with all red flame and silvery hematite if it were done right. Anyone know what it is? Anyone cut this material or a similar? We cut hematite years ago and made a real mess... Both pix of same item, I thought one of the pix showed the gray/silver hematite better than the other but maybe not...
