That last slab looks like rainforest jasper to me. I'm no expert, but I'll toss that guess out there.

You can buy rough Rainforest Jasper from The Gem Shop. I see a nice small slab of Hornitos Poppy Jasper in your selection.

You can also try Gemmy's for the Rain Forest, Levi is a good friend and will treat you right, he also sells other killer rock. I was once told, to look for the red eyes in Rain Forest Jasper. Thank You, Clint www.gemmys.biz/index.htm

I didn't collect it myself, it was with a bunch of other rocks I got from Maddie the one & only person down here in the Keys with any rocks for sale. She just turned 86 last month. She & her husband used to go rock hounding years ago & she had buckets of rock & stuff sitting around they had collected 15-20 yrs ago. I make her an offer on them. There has been some good stuff for tumbling, some slabs & a lot of I don't know rocks.

That was the FIRST thing I thought when I saw it! Petrified doo doo. Just shows what I know! I had to ask to find out what it was, then I went to the net to get more info.

On 2nd thought, let me withdraw. I just found out I have to travel all day tomorrow starting at 7am, and I will not be out in the shop tonight. Also, I am going to several of the Denver shows next weekend, and will be bringing home 100+ lbs of rough and slabs with just things I have pre-ordered.
Those slabs truly do look like they are higher grade, and quite a few have nice patterns. I am just out of time and seem to be swimming in rock. Maybe next time. I do have a super-nice chunk of 3-4" thick tigereye from Richardsons.
Cheers.

Ernie, on the first picture, what are the two pieces very top all the way to the left, the red one & the blue one? Also all the way to the bottom, left side the 2 pieces that look like bone? Hoping for some time soon to do some preforms & cabbing! Not a good day down here to cut right now, way too windy!!!!! Donnie

Thank you! Darn pretty pieces of glass. Love the walrus tusk! It will stay just as it is, doesn't need anything else done to it! How was your package?
