Howdy folks, Well, just got back from horseback church and got my newest load out of the UV-10. Very pleased with this batch. Very good shine and lots of tiger eye in this mixed batch, for the kiddies. Also a lot of big'uns in this load. Threw in a bunch of end cuts left over form my slabbing, some several ounces in weight. Used my usual 12 days in prepolish and polish plus a burnish in Dreft. Here are a couple of pics. The larger ones are Rio Grande Moss, Hornitos Poppy Jaspers, Laguna, Moctazuma, Condor and Agua Nueva agate.....Mel In full sun: In shade which shows the shine better:

What a great selection/tumble--I am again finding myself suffering from vibe envy--

Great looking tumble! There's a few there I'd be hard pressed to hand out to the little rascals.

*L* Carlos, I've got to admit that a few of my favorites, especially the Mexican Agates and some of the poppy jasper, find their way into my big ole box where I hoard some my favorite tumbles just so's I can take them out and fondle them once and awhile.....Mel

Mighty pretty batch there, Mel. Of course, I would expect nothing less.
find their way into my big ole box where I hoard some my favorite tumbles
I think we all do that. I save more than I use. I have 6 large glass vases, several small ones and a number of Mason jars full of those that I have saved. I love it when somebody comes by and I can pour a vase out for some serious fondling. Sometimes, if I really like the visitor, I will give them one or two.
I get such a kick when they say something like "You mean this used to be just an ugly old rock? How'd you do that?"

Oh, that load is going to make some kids really happy! I would definitely be setting some aside for myself out of that load! Great job Mel! Fran
