i really have been working on stones, just not as often as i'd like here are some of what i've been doing: 25mm x 18mm oval unknown plume agate some 14mm x 10mm amethyst quartz for earrings: another pair of 14mm x 10mm fossilized palm?? not sure anohter 25mm x 18mm unlnown picture jasper is kinda like a box of chocolates, you never know what it's going to look until you finish it, 25mm x 18mm another 14mm x 10 amy/quartz a little 3/8" x 3/8" tigereye square. i don't do square shapes much, so this was fun and last but not least a malachite mother/daughter set. malachite is probably my least favorite stone to work because it's so freaking messy. and it's expensive and really easy to fail with. but....it's so darn pretty when you succeed thanks for looking! You have some really beautiful cabs there. I have to say that Malachite is hard to beat, and the Tiger Eye and the oh well, they are all beautiful. Tanya

I like the ammy too. Especially the one that's split in half. That picture jasper is cool too. It looks to be wrapped and you're looking through the wrapping. Very nice work.

Good to see you posting KD! My daughter still wears the necklace you sent me. Is that 3rd one down Variscite??? Sure looks like it. Nice Ammy's. I gave up on Malachite cuz of the mess. Steve

Fantastic cabs and I agree with Steve that the 3rd one looks like variscite.

Beautiful group of cabs! The amethyst and the malachite are my favorites. If you turn that picture jasper 90 degrees clockwise, it will look like a scene seen through a window-arch in Arches Park. Amazing!

What a great group! each is a beauty and that pattern in the calibrated Malachite would have thrown me off! It would have been so crooked, it never would have fit! Great job! Fran
