Cut this one today - cut it thin to check out new saw blade. Didn't know what it was, but now that I can really see it, I'm thinking it's some kind of jade / jadeite / nephrite? It's a big slab, about 6" X 7" X 2" and tapered, and heavy. Looking at this thin (1/8") slice, it's translucent, although not a lot. In this picture, the camera flash bounced off the white poster board and back up through the part that's translucent. The coin is a U.S. quarter for size reference. Whatever it is, I'm thinking I'm gonna get some great cabs from it! And lots of them, too - I bet there's about 18-20 slabs this size and bigger in this big ol rock! I'm sure somebody out there will recognize this on sight, and clue me in - hopefully! Thanks, Tom

Hey, thanks, Bobby! I'm gonna mark this on my calendar - I probably guessed right for a change! LOL! Or at least, close.... I'm thinking there might even be one or two "Bobby1" sized cabs in this thing - 2" plus puppies! Tom
