There were only a few vendors that had slabs at the show this past weekend but one old man had a bunch that had belonged to his wife. He was selling all of it and was hoping someone would get them that could make something with them like she had. We chatted for a long time as I went though each box he had. Others came and went getting a few slabs here and there but I got a whole lot and several added in for free. I did buy a few at two others but not nearly as many.
Most, spread out on my driveway
Parrot Wing
This one seems to have a bunch of copper in it
Not sure what that one on the bottom is
Mosses and Binghamite
Sister Slabs
Pet wood, turatella, and a green rhyolite that I have no Idea what it is called
Lots of smaller slabs
Lots of pits in this one but there are some good areas also
Fancy jasper
Purple Burro Creek
This one is marked Korean Jade but it says below that that it is not a real jade. Very flashy in the light
I also bought this rose quartz from the older man.
Then I went to the next vendor. He had a few nice slabs but they were so dirty, I couldn't tell what they really looked like. None of the vendors had any water but I did spot a bit of flash on one of them when he told me that it was a moss. Yep, I bought that one and it is not a moss. Just a very nice labradorite. The sowbelly had a piece of masking tap across it so it will have to be ground off. I am not sure what the agate is but it is sure pretty!
The last vendor had a lot of little slabs so I picked these up. pretty good prices for them so I couldn't pass them up
Thanks for looking!
