Thought you'd like to see the blast of winter we've had here. It's been snowing off and on since last week. So far we have about 6 inches on the ground. It wouldn't be so bad except for the fact we have had below zero temperatures along with the snow and dangerous wind chills close to -25 degrees F. In other words, dang cold, even for here. I took a few pictures after the first blast of snow for your enjoyment. i119.photobucket.com/albums/o129/sweetinmontana/Montana pictures/viewofsnowingoutback.jpg[/IMG] Snow falling in back of my apartment. Yes that is a cemetery behind my apartment. The neighbors are quiet and don't complain about the snow at all...lol. i119.photobucket.com/albums/o129/sweetinmontana/Montana pictures/snowonthetruckNovember2010.jpg[/IMG] My pickup was trying to change from tan to white. i119.photobucket.com/albums/o129/sweetinmontana/Montana pictures/footprintsonsidewalk.jpg[/IMG] Someone left footprints on the sidewalk which were soon covered by more snow. i119.photobucket.com/albums/o129/sweetinmontana/Montana pictures/snowonmywoodpile.jpg[/IMG] This is my pile of camping firewood with the snow piling up on top. Looks like camping is done for the season here because I don't camp in the snow (not hardcore I guess). Hope you liked seeing winter roaring in here. Happy Thanksgiving to you all... ;D

Pretty pictures, Diane! I guess I think it's pretty, because I don't have to put up with it. I spent 3 years in Colorado, and got my fill of all the fun that snow has to offer. This ol' Texas boy (and his gol-danged arthritis) prefers the mild winters of south Texas, thank you very much! ;D ;D ;D Tom

Hahahaha... well, if it's any consolation to ya, Diane (the snow bird) got snowed in before she could fly the coop! LOL

Oh what I'd give to be able to feel the chill of snow. Temperature guage flunked out at 52oC today :-( Had to keep going until it regained conciousness :-(

Sorry Cul-Ann and Jakesrocks, had to spread it around to keep it from piling up too deep here :cheesy: At least I hope I didn't send the below zero temps and wind chills your way too. It's actually warmer here today. In the 20's but the wind is still blowing the snow around and keeping the chill on. LOL Jo. Have shovel, will travel.. ;D Wow Rogue and I was thinking it was cold here. Keep warm dude. Paul, come on over, you can enjoy the snow too...

Sort of warmed up in N.E. S.D. today too. We're all the way up to 12 above, with minus 8 wind chill. Supposed to get above freezing on Saturday. Had to bring the Genie in the kitchen to work. The water in the pans was turning to slush out in the shop.
