This is a 22# piece of Western Washington Botryoidal Jade. From experience it is likely green and blue inside but the exterior is primary white. I found this near Oso Washington in the famous Deer Creek jade area. I absolutely love Bot Jades and hope others enjoy this unique form too! Anyone else here hunt for jade or Bot Jade? I'd love to see some other photos!

I've never hunted for jade but one of these days I'd like to try. Do you do any jade carving?

I hunt jade every time I leave the house. Don't think I'll be finding any around here, though - we don't even have a rock shop any more, and that would be the only way to find jade in south central Texas! LOL!
Wish I was located where there was good hounding, particularly for jade. Love the stuff, love working it.
That's a nice looking lump you found!

Since moving to WA I've felt really lucky to be in an area that is so rich in lapidary materials. I've spent countless hours wandering around the streams and old logging roads looking for stones and crystals. Sorry these aren't all over the country but I'm glad I can share some pictures. Here is another small Bot that has great crystal structure

Not that's a big hunk of jade. Will you keep as is, or will you face it?
