Pretty clear to me that it is a botryoidal form of agate. BEAUTIFUL stuff - get up there and bring some more of that home (don't forget to put up some more pictures)! I love the Bots!

The rock garden is crowded with selenite roses, barite roses, and chalcedony roses. All are called desert roses at times.

We have some of that around here. We call it Chalcedony. Pretty cool stuff. It looks and feels like wax. But it is very hard. I haven't cut any yet.
