Howdy folks, I was talking with Lowell about the tiny tumbles I use for media in my vibe for the pre polish and polish stages. I simply set aside all my tiny polished agate and jasper stones and use about ten pounds of them with a couple of cups of plastic pellets. This serves as a wonderful finish media for cabs or flat slabs as the polished irregularly sized tiny stones flow like water in the vibe and polish every bit of a stone surface even if its a flat slab. Plus, the multitude of tinies cushion the load and are not heavy enough to ding the cabs. Anyway, Lowell suggested I post a pic so here you are: This is my UV-10 full of tinies and plastic beads and about forty two cabs:

I have a bunch of tinies that I had set aside, only using them in the first couple stages. I think I may have to move them forward to use as you do in the polish. Great idea Mel! Fran

Great idea Mel!
The more I see the killer stones posted on this board, the more I think it's time to dust off the old tumblers and dive back in.
