Julie, I use a flex shaft, lots of water and these are the bits: I've experimented with probably 20+ different versions of diamond bits but always go back to the wheels. They just work really well for me. Also the wheels are what many people here use to make grooves for those awesome groove wraps! (Wanna try that very soon!!!) Here are some pictures I've posted here before of my cutting process: And that's the jist of it, nothing fancy but gets the job done. One more thing though! The wheels I buy are graded at 150 grit. They do make others but I haven't tried them. Hope this helps! ~Krystee

Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!! This is exactly what I wanted to see!!!
The set of bits I have are not as big as your wheels, but they can start things up.
You have just opened up new avenues for me and my cabbing (or lack of) as I don't have the space for stuff.
I am pretty sure I can get these similar wheels (diamond cheap ones) at Harbor Freight.
You have also given me another idea about how to work even better with my Gryphon grinder (you might like it) It is small and compact and full of energy.
I am going to try to use the groove bit and feed pieces from the back to cut out preforms. Do not know if it will work, but it sure looks good and viable in my mind.
You rock!!!! Thanks!!!

Thanks Tom and Randy!
Thanks Julie!
Montanna. I call him"Humpty Dumpty in a broken egg shell." Maybe it's just me but I see a frustrated face with a flat lined mouth. Doesn't matter anyway, "HE" holds a special place in my heart, cuz he was my first "Dremel" cab!

I am now wondering if there is a way that I can take my groove bit (diamond) for the Gryphon, which is actually a wheel and fit it to my flex shaft on my portable table grinder? Hmmmmm I wonder!!!

Hi Ed,
The Lot-O is the vibe tumbler that I upgraded to. It's pretty neat because unlike other vibes, the manufacturer claims that you can polish anything that will fit through the lid. I haven't tried a large stone yet but the diameter of the opening is about 3".

Thanks ~Krystee
I’ve never seen a Lot O sounds interesting
does the polish items come out the same hole they go into?
Plus I liked the photo of Dremeland blades I was giving a older dremel and trying to figure out the collet set-up long story… so I just bought a Dremel 3 Jaw Chuck to hold the Harbor Freight shank I use with diamond disks I been using the H.F. zipper and the speed is way to fast so really looking forward to using the variable speed of the Dremel
and so I don’t hi-jack the thread Those BE Beautifulll Stones well done!

Thanks Clint! Thanks Ed... again! Ed, Here's a picture of it, and yes same opening (pic took the first day I set it up) Using a catfood can lid instead of the one that came with it because I prefer the tab on it. Here it is in action my first run. I have since modified my recipe and I fill it up all the way to the top but just for an idea... As you can see it is much different than the doughnut shaped bowl that I used to use. It is working really well for me! (I originally posted this picture and video just after Christmas) ~Krystee (I have nothing to do with the ads next to the video, it happens automatically when you insert a youtube video into the post......)

What a fun hobby set-up you have for making pretty polish stones. I’ll have to wait till I’m on faster computer to view the video Keep on shining Ed
