A friend buys glue on hardware and cuts large stones. No hardware shows when done. He buys them at Quartzsite but I don't know where else you can find them. He cuts about 2" x 4" stones and gets a perfect low dome somehow. The hardware is either brass or plated and has the loop for belt and hook to connect to hole. He drills holes in flat surfaces of metal to help glue down.
