Avi is resting at home. He met my folks this morning. I think I will keep him here until after the Aug 26th show. That way I can display him. But maybe he will take a quick trip first. It is hard to think and organize with house guests. I thought I did a fair job of cleaning the house last week. I even took most of the rocks out of my office (um, gestroom) and moved them into the basement. Mopped the floors, cleaned the counters. Wiped out the microwave. But my mom has found a "project" in the kitchen each of the last two days. I don;t think the microwave has ever been scrubbed like that in 8 years. Who knew Scotch-Brite could almost take off porcelain paint form appliances? I gotta bring her to the library or something. The slab Avi sent is some type of red lace. I think there were just more banded orbs in this piece. I don't think it is a distinct material. trick69 on ebay was selling it as a new colorful banded agate, but that is the only piece that looked that way, and he had to pull the listings after I complained. I had a thread on this: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.cgi?board=Pictures&action=display&thread=1148790055The heel cut is the most colorful, but I wouldn't let Avi send that one.
