Stupid questions - looks green to me, so why do they call it blue? Toad, Richardson thunder ranch is where i bought the material. in 1991 i found this in the Green moss pile. Tons to sort through. I found about 40 lbs. As for most blue agates like the Holley blue cut thin its grey, green, Some of the good Holley blue, well be purple lavenders. and sky blues. and banded material from Scott Mt. is nice cut thin. Blue bed thunders are grey cut thin. to keep good color in the thunder eggs from the Blue bed 5/16th our thicker. Though i few thunder egg in that bed well hold their color cut thin - rare few! Rare times to fine blue that well hold their colors cut thin. South African Blue lace holds a nice blue cut thin. Back light slabs of any color and you`l see what a mean. Though your wright Toad, its green moss from India`s Green moss formation. Just rare to find Blue mix into it. Jack

Duh, the agate is blue. I was concentrating on the moss itself. I see it now. Thanks.
