Been cutting some fluorite that Donna had. It has some nice plumes in it. going to cut one of the slabs to see what I can do with it. This is the slab. Now to cut it. Ken

Wow, Ken - your first picture had me going for a bit! With my sorry eyes and the backlighting in the photo, at first I thought I was seeing a huge slab of about 2 feet by 4 feet, sitting on the arms of 2 chairs! Your second picture cleared it up for me.
That is really a pretty piece of fluorite - if it were mine, it would never be cut, but instead, polished and placed on a stand for display. It will be fun to see what you do with it re: making a cab.

Great specimen! I'm with Tom, that would stay a specimen if it were mine.

Beautiful. Always like the fluorite. Never heard of it with dendrites.

Sorry guys, this piece will be a specimen. I have several others, but not as good. Have only one branch in them. Going to cut one of them and see what happens. Probably have to be a flat some on it. Don't know if I can dop it either as it fractures with heat.
