Glad that grey stuff wasn't chert- as it woulda beat the daylights outta the obsidian. Stuff is looking real good. Some of it looks like it's ready to move on!

I am going to try some Obsidian soon. I have a few little bits and some chunks too big for the tumbler and no saw but soon I will get some and start a batch. I just love the shine and appearance of the Obsidian. You are doing a great job.

Thanks All! I do have to make note that I don't always cut with the saw. It's called a hammer and fat chisel. That is the impatience in me.
