You could always check out the spill way below the damm or at the mouth of the lake couldn't you? Not sure where the movie was filmed. Hope the folk around are a lot more friendly in real life then in the movie! Planning another trip Puppie?

Here ya go guys! I love that movie!! Makes me want to squeeeeeeal like a pig!! Check out this little bit of trivia:The movie was shot on the Chattooga River, dividing South Carolina and Georgia. The year following the release of the movie, 31 people drowned attempting to travel the stretch of river where the movie was shot!! Gots to love dem Darwin award nominees!

One of my favorite movies. Just saw Ronnie Cox, the guy who played the guitar in the movie while the little boy was playing the banjo, on an episode of Desperate Housewives. He was the dad of one of the girls. I like playing Dueling Banjos on my guitar when I go out camping. Only problem is, that when I go out alone, I end up scaring myself.

It's only scary when you play the intro piece and off in the distance a banjo replies! I have a friend who is an idiot savant when it comes to stringed instraments and when he plays banjo he's only interested in people who enjoy Full Contact Blue Grass! He takes no prisoners and is great to listen to for about 10 minutes and then you wish he'd take his show on the road!

Who knew Deliverance would get all these replies. I thought I might get chastised for putting up silly posts!
