Love it Sheri, You have a wonderful knack for making people feel comfortable, like the sitting area in the middle of the rock tables. I do hope to get out there one day if the gas prices ever drop again. My brother in law is in Casa Grande, Az. After driving at least 2,000 miles, by way of South Dakota, to his house anywhere in AZ would be a short trip to your shop.

Thanks guys! It has been really busy. I opened last Sat cause I didn't have anything to do but not expecting any business the day b4 easter but I got slammed! I expect it to slow way done as the temperatures go up. I will spend that time getting ready for fall and the Christmas season! Please remember that anyone that is nearby is welcome to put rock or rock related outside and make some $.

Jo, I wish we could. Chris probably won't come with us. He and Diane don't travel too much and this will be an expensive trip. Jerry and I do okay but we can't afford a motel room for them every night. But then maybe if he starts selling some of his wraps, who knows. I would love to do Quartzite but that would take out the South Dakota trip as well. Too much snow then, I want to see Mt Rushmore before I am too old.
nowyo: Aw crap. Knew that might be coming but was hoping for the best. Tell him to hang in there.

snowmom: Good morning! 50 degrees here with the wind from the NW, leaves rustling and it makes me restless... the rocky beaches will be in full song this morning. Think I'll take my camera and take some pics this morning for show and tell. what are you all up to?

wampidy: pickup before I go running around in the hills. One of my goodest tires has a bulge and all the tread is worn off of it in that spot. Tells me that I probably should have replaced it a long time ago but it is just a little wup wup.

snowmom: LOL, I did ask.. I'll be more careful next time! I expect hounding out there is a terror on tires- all those sharp rocks...

drocknut: Snowmom at least he didn't say he was naked...;)

rockpickerforever: Diane, if he said he was sitting in his underwear, most would understand that he is not naked. What's wrong with naked, anyway? ...Unless that's your laptop sitting in his lap, ho ho!

wampidy: There was not one of the tires on my pickup good enough to replace my raggedy spare. Just went ahead and bought all four. As bad as the front tires were it is a wonder I am not laying in a ditch somewhere between here and Quartzsite.
Jul 29, 2014 23:23:50 GMT -5
wampidy: Sure drives nice now except for the wandering. Replaced the steering ball joints before I left for Q and they already have a bunch of slop in them. Must have been a tad bit of stress there on the trip.
